Enter Chelsea Physic Garden after dark for a haunting evening of storytelling, history and performance. Founded in 1673, London’s oldest botanic garden offers an atmospheric setting to explore the lives of women herbalists and cunning folk persecuted during the Witch Craze.
I will be introducing you to real cunning women and 'witches' of London's past in the atmospheric garden by twilight, and then will invite you to a talk on the witch craze upstairs in the lecture room. Your ticket also includes a glass of mulled wine, and a poetic performance to inspire you to revive your inner witch....
