We get it. There are lots of tour companies out there. But not many include street theatre; not many include engaging storytelling and interpretations of forgotten elements of history; and not many tell only women's stories!

So if you're looking for curious history, drama and comedy all told sensitively and cleverly by women and about women, then you’re in the right place! Some of our tours and special events even include free entry to museums, check out the website for all the details.

No, as we keep the groups small to enhance the experience all tickets must be pre-booked.

Tours are based in London, from London Bridge to the West End to the City. Check each tour page for more details.

Walking tours are between 1.30 - 2.15 hours in length. The distances are flat but you must be able to remain on your feet and walk continuously for that length of time. There are no rest stops en route. Distances between stops can be up to 17 minutes walking time- please refer to individual tour pages for details.

There are no rest stops or toilet breaks - please ensure you go before the tour begins!

On each tour we will stop at 6-8 locations for a story for 5-10 minutes each. But you will have to stay on your feet.

Please arrive 5 minutes early as we will start on the dot. Before the tour, your guide will send you a reminder email and a phone number to contact should there be any problems.

Unless there is extreme weather such as a storm or deluge/snow/extreme heatwave - we will run tours as long as it is safe to do so! Please take the weather into account when attending and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring water.

There are some narrow lanes and steps on some of the tours. Please drop us an email or use the contact form if you have any accessibility issues and we'll be able to advise further.

If there is a medical emergency at our events, we will call emergency services/a doctor where needed. Please ensure you have water and any medications you need if attending any of our events.

Please note that we do not always have a trained First Aider on standby.

Tours are conducted in modern English, with smatterings of cockney rhyming slang, RP and ye olde englishe at times...;-)

Hex and the City, Harlots, Jailbirds and Sinners feature adult themes and language around violence, sex and execution. We don't recommend these tours to anyone under 16. Votes for Women! is a little more family friendly, but there are still references to sexual assault and violence. However it is your choice, and we won't send anyone away if they book a ticket.

Tours can only go ahead if a minimum number of tickets are sold, which will vary by tour. If this threshold is not met, you will be offered the option of postponing your tickets to a later date or a full refund.

The cancellation policy and contact details will be attached to your confirmation email and on our third party booking partner's websites.

We dont expect tips but we always appreciate them! Entirely at your discretion.

Yes, well-behaved dogs who aren't spooked by jump scares and costumed actors are more than welcome.
