Happy International Women’s Day 2022!

Lots of love to you all on this day celebrating women of the world and all their achievements. The other 364 days celebrate men, after all ;-) We also have Mother’s Day here in the UK this month, AND Women’s History Month - a very feminine month all round!

To mark these auspicious occasions, Herstorical Tours will be continuing our flagship tour Hex and the City on 11th and 25th March, where you can learn all about the history of witches in London, and be entertained in the process! Book tickets here. We had a photographer take some professional photos of us too - here’s a couple of our favourites. (Thanks to Paul Phipps-Williams Photography)

As you may have seen on our social media channels, we will also be featuring one interesting women from history every few days this month, so check those out if you want to brush up on your history knowledge! Here is my favourite woman from history - Queen, strategist, patron of the arts - the extraordinarily intelligent and charismatic Eleanor of Aquitaine. Did you know that she was put in charge of her Father’s kingdom at the age of 12??? And she did a fantastic job too! If you want to learn more about Eleanor, I highly recommend Curious Characters podcast - there’s a brilliant episode on her here.

Aaaaand….last but not least, we were delighted to be interviewed by the UAL Alumni team for women’s history month! Maria, Herstorical Tours Founder, is an ex-Camberwell Arts student. To read her musings check out the interview here.

Don’t forget to follow our social media channels below to get the latest updates on what we’re doing. I’ve heard a rumour on the grapevine of a lusty, sinful, gin-soaked tour coming this summer, for example…stay tuned if you fancy a bit of that..oo err!

In the meantime enjoy and celebrate this lovely month of the fairer sex, and warmer, spring-like days. Yay!
