Aaaaand That’s A Wrap! Our Stocking-filler Harlots Special is done and dusted for 2022, and the coven is in hibernation for Yule. The harlots are gorging themselves on mince pies after emptying all the sacks in London and jingling the bells so hard they’ve got RSI in their nimble wrists… and the witches are conjuring up potions to cast wintry magic over the Capital this festive season (or just getting wasted on their special brew…who knows! )
2022 was amazing, our first official year operating as Herstorical Tours - our maiden voyage if you like! Hex and the City continued bewitching London from 2021, thanks to our partnership this year with the incredible Treadwells Books, and culminated in October with a sell out Halloween run. I wrote and produced Harlots and Strumpets and Tarts, Oh My! this year - launched in the summer - which was a HUGE learning curve and not without its challenges but I got the chance to work with some incredible actors who are now in the Herstorical family, and tell the story of London’s sex workers, and for that I am so grateful! You can read some of our amazing customer reviews this year via Google here. I am truly humbled by the responses!
Not forgetting the amazing connections I have made with some incredible individuals doing great work for women’s causes. I feel incredibly blessed.
But most importantly, of course, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support this year, - whether you came along to a tour (or tours!), or followed us eagerly on social media… waiting with baited breath for the next engrossing instalment from me in your inbox….(don’t try to deny it!) We love you all, and wish you a wonderful fun-filled, raucous, surprising or peaceful (you choose!) Christmas and New Year.
2023 is going to be a big year (I know because the witches told me so!) Hex and Harlots will continue, and there will be a new tour. There are also some very exciting projects and collaborations in the pipeline…and that’s all I’m going to be saying about that for now!
