The Month of Lurrrrve is over (is that a collective sigh of relief I detect? Or are you just pleased to see me..?) And that also means our Valentines/Galentines/Schmalentines Harlots and Strumpets and Tarts, Oh My! Special is over, but it was super fun, for us, and for all those who attended, hopefully.
Below are some photo highlights in case you missed out, and bring back beautiful memories of all the bawdy fun we had. Don’t worry if you missed it though, Covent Garden’s Finest will be back at some point later this year (as soon as, - you know, - they’ve had that little rash cleared up...😳)
What’s next for Herstorical Tours? Well as mentioned in the last email, we’re participating at the Museum of London’s special event Women: Witches and Wenches on 8th March, International Women’s Day. I will be chairing the talk and maybe doing a cheeky little performance, plus there’ll be special guest speakers Vanessa King- Lecturer in medieval and Early Modern History at Birkbeck, and Dr Alice Tarbuck - novelist and practising witch on the panel. After the talk there will be a Q and A with the audience. Tickets are going fast for this one- so get in while you can! This is part of the excellent Executions show currently on at the Museum.
Also on the 8th March, voting closes for Simply Business’s ‘Best Small Business Name’ competition. Herstorical Tours has been shortlisted, and you can vote now here to help us win!
Later, on the 31st March we have our next Hex and the City walk- our hugely popular theatrical tour of London’s witch persecution history. We run these once a month so if you miss this one, there’ll be more!
As ever, follow us on the social media platforms where I’ll be posting all the updates regularly about tour dates and special events. And if you have already been on a tour with us and haven’t yet left us a review - please could you take a minute to leave us one on our Facebook page? If you don’t have Facebook, we’re also on Google! Links below.
Until we meet again!
