Meet the Witches and the Lady Criminals this May!

April showers are (hopefully) gone now and the Darling Buds of May are out! Already, it’s proving to be a momentous month, - there’s a new King 🤴🏻, but more importantly, of course, - a new tour from Herstorical Tours! Gaol Birds of Old London, our theatrical exploration of London’s true crime stories of the feminine kind is launching the last weekend of May, and tickets are already selling fast so get yours while you still can!

To get you in the mood for some grisly and dark details about London’s true crime past, we’re sharing stories of some of the most notorious cases on our social media channels- so follow us using the links below if you don’t already! We’ve also got TikTok.

And if you STILL haven’t managed to catch our witch or Harlots tour- Hex and the City is running again on the 12th May via our partner Treadwells Books, then again on 9th June. Both links are below. This is always a sell out- so get in quick to avoid disappointment! The highlight of April was bringing our Covent Garden Harlots Strumpets and Tarts Oh My! walking tour back to life on the 21st - which turned out to be a lovely sunny evening - enhanced (!) by the VERY drunk man who decided to upstage our prize harlot Sally Salisbury!! 😅 Don’t worry though…her ghost definitely scared him away…👻💀 One of our new ‘recruits’ who came long for the ride was Eva who runs Urban Adventurer - a very popular blog exploring the hidden gems of London. She wrote this lovely post for us. Thanks Eva! You are definitely one of the Baroness’s ‘girls’….;-) If you missed it and would like to get a bit of bawdy action with the girls, then the next tour is going to be on 16th June. Link below.

See you later this month on a tour, or two! Herstorical Tours x
