Wow you can definitely feel the chill in the air now can’t you? Happy November everyone! And firstly thanks for a wonderful October! Samhain/Halloween was an amazing period for us as always, with no fewer than 11 events to ring in spooky season! From our regular Hexing to the launch of our brand new Magic, Mystics and Martyrs, to talks at Chelsea Physic Garden and the Amersham Paracon, Herstorical Tours has been busy and most events were sold out - thank you so much to all our followers, old and new! I even made it into Bloomberg! (see the article here)
Below are some photos to recap the month.
(Thanks to Chelsea Physic Garden, Ashley Darkwood and Jason Brawn for these photos)
If anyone missed out last month, don’t worry - we are back to our monthly tours in November! Here’s the schedule:
7 November - Magic, Mystics and Martyrs* (only 3 tickets left!)
9 November - Sinners, Saints and Saviours (Remembrance Sunday special)
22nd November - Harlots and Strumpets and Tarts with the Foundling Museum
28th November - Hex and the City

Magic, Mystics and Martyrs
Explore the explosive tales of the lady mystics, heretics, fishwives and more on this comedic and spooky tour set against the atmospheric backdrop of the Thames and the Tower! Read a review from the tour launch below.

Sinners, Saints and Saviours
On Remembrance Sunday, we remember not just our fallen soldiers but the forgotten heroines of our city! Join us for an afternoon resurrecting the pagan goddesses, Winchester geese and Victorian social reformers.

Hex and the City
Our witchy favourite returns in November! Follow the High Priestess on a journey through London’s witch history. Tour includes lots of theatrical surprises and consistently sells out so don’t miss it.

Burning Times!
For the past few years I have been giving my popular witch history presentation at the Last Tuesday Society and it returns again on the 17th! If you went to the Chelsea Physic Garden event that I did last month - it is the same presentation but I include a special performance here bringing to life the lady in the picture above, that is unique to the venue. So do come along if you want to see that, plus you get a free Devil’s Botany absinthe with your ticket!
That’s it for this month! If anything else crops up I’ll update my social media so be sure to follow me there. I’ll be back mid-month for the Herstory blog.
